High End / Reference Power Amplifier modules

These are modular setups where also other modules can be connected without ANY wiring.
A working ELTIM  High-End amplifier is a combination of any
VS-input stage module mounted on any CS-output stage module !
All these modules have a complete symmetrical layout.
In/outputs can be connected at left OR right side.

They all can be extended with:
  • Line input buffer
  • Balanced input buffer
  • Regulated VS-module supply voltage module
  • Protection module (in development)
  • Sandwich mounted Power Supply module

In the picture at right all these are connected together, NO wiring!
Just connect a transformer and very short in/output leads to it.
VS-modules (Voltage Stages), transform the input signal to signals capable of driving the CS-boards.


On this module we use regular SMD transistors (exactly in the
middle very close to each other) in the double mirror input circuit.
There are high voltage (200V) driving transistors on board as well.


On this module we use a THAT 340 transistor array IC
(exactly in the middle at backside) in the double input mirror
circuit.  2x NPN and 2x PNP are matched within 500uV.

CS-modules (Current Stages), transform the signals coming from a VS-module into a rock solid and clean speaker signal.


Current stage module with integrated Power Supply.

Works perfect in modest (100-150W) amplifier designs.

Due to the compact format also recommended in
integrated designs and smaller monoblock setups.
In that case also use our CD-40MB modules.


This module is mounted as most other amplifier modules.

Instead of the output transistors we also have types with
connectors where transistor array modules can be connected.
With up to 4 pairs of 16A top class mosfets you can make about
any power you want to. Actually up to around 2kW.


With the power Mosfets flat mounted in the middle of the backside
of the PCB, this module is sandwich mounted to a cooling surf\ace.
Due to this (and more) the amp stays about cool under all circomstances. Heating it up before listening makes therefor no sence, it works perfect right away.

Some extra Power Supply capacitors very close to the power Mosfets assure a "punch"most amplifiers lack.

ELTIM Power Amplifier (optional) addition modules:
Input/Output modules

This line input board can be mounted left or right of CS-80 modules.
In that case you only need short wires to connect the line input and speaker terminals to it.

In addition you could mount a high-end input capacitor on this board.

We have left hand and right hand boards available.

This balanced input board can be mounted left or right of CS-80 modules.
In that case you only need short wires to connect the XLR input and speaker terminals to it.
We use a very high quality blance to line driver IC: THAT 1646.

With this IC there are NO input capacitors required..

We have left hand and right hand boards available.

We can build similar modules for CS-120 and CS-165 as well.

CD-modules
Following modules assist CS-xxx modules with an extra pair of power mosfets.
The MB versions are mounted on CS-xxx MB where NO power transistors are mounted. Instead there are connectors.
The modules below fit there and contain one up to four pairs of power Mosfets.

These modules come in a pair. Together with a CS-40ps CB they form
a nice monoblock construction exactly fitting in f.e. MODU 230x280x120mm Galaxy cabinets.

  • 1x EXICON 8A/200V mosfet on each board.
  • 1x extra power supply capacitor Mundorf MLGO 4700uF/63V

In addition you could mount a high-end input capacitor on this board,
fitting on left or right board,

A monoblock built with these can deliver around 120Wrms/8ohms





Similar to above, but 120mm high
and two supply capacitors

These modules come in a pair. Together with a CS-40ps CB they form
a nice monoblock construction exactly fitting in f.e. MODU 230x280x80mm Galaxy cabinets.

  • 1x EXICON 16A/200V mosfet on each board.
  • 2x extra power supply capacitor Mundorf MLGO 4700uF/63V

A monoblock built with these can deliver around 200Wrms/8ohms.
In addition you could mount a high-end input capacitor on this board.





These modules work in combination with CS-40 and are located where normally the Power Mosfets are located.

In these PA-modules we use very rugged power Hexfets.

With a combination like this it fits in MODU Dissipanate cabinets
400mm deep 165mm high instead if the basic 300mm versions.  

It also exactly fits on a MODU heatsink 300x120mm








These modules come in pairs and fit left and right of a  CS-165 module.

With a combination like this it fits in MODU Dissipanate cabinets
400mm deep 210mm high instead if the basic 300mm versions.  

It also exactly fits on a MODU heatsink 300x165mm

Protection/control modules


This module controlles about everything possible in a Power amplifier.
LED indications for: overload, overtemp and distortion.

This module can be mounted at any time on all CS-40ps modules or
on the PS-80/120/165 power supplies for CS-80, CS-120 and CS-165.
